In the Department of Internal Medicine at Pitié Salpêtrière, he concentrated on gastrointestinal diseases. Marvin Edeas (site en relation) worked in the Department of Pulmonary Diseases at Armand Trousseau Hospital in the early 90's. Back in the year 1998, Marvin Edeas acquired his doctorate on HIV infections in asymptomatic patients from Antoine Béclère Hospital.
Marvin Edeas - A World-recognised Scientist
Marvin Edeas chairs various committees of a scientific nature, including that of the Congress on Targeting Mitochondria, Microbiota, Non-invasive Markers in Various Chronic Pathologies and Glycation & Maillard Reaction. The global conference "Targeting Microbiota and Mitochondria" is chaired by him. Marvin Edeas works with the Agency for the Evaluation of Research and Higher-Education (AERES) and Krakow's National Science Center. The Chair of the International Society of Antioxidants quite logically handles his annual congress, Paris Redox.
Marvin Edeas - Oysters and Peptides Derived from Hydrolysates Modulate Oxidative Stress
A start-up company was founded in order to market the new peptide as a result of these patents. Marvin Edeas successfully distinguished two Nrf-2 modulators isolated from proteins and peptides, which can activate the antioxidant defence system. The discoveries Marvin Edeas has made have all proved to possess a real application.
Important Research on HIV
Substantial research was conducted on the acquired immunodeficiency virus by Marvin Edeas in the 1990s. The latency mechanisms of HIV in patients who are HIV-positive, and the activation factors, is a field which he gave six years to studying at Antoine Béclère Hospital. He looked into the effects of oxidative stress and co-infections in patients with HIV at Paris Descartes University. Back in the year 1997, Marvin Edeas identified the factors that produce blastogenic plasma in HIV Type 1 cases.
